About The Position

Vironix Health is a well-funded Austin-based health tech company focused on remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM). They partner with healthcare organizations to provide continuous, data-driven care outside of traditional clinic settings, integrating technology, clinical staffing, and care coordination. As a fast-moving startup, Vironix is scaling its clinical workforce and internal team, and requires someone to build the necessary people infrastructure to support this growth. This role is based in Austin, TX, with a remote-first approach but occasional in-person meetings.

Requirements

  • Ideally 3+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Startup experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong work ethic and resilience under pressure; ability to handle pressure calmly and maintain momentum.
  • This role requires significant commitment and should be the primary professional focus.
  • Organized and diligent; ability to manage multiple open requisitions and contractor touchpoints without anything falling through the cracks.
  • Genuinely passionate about building something and growing the recruiting/HR function and the company.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats, handling both structured hiring pipelines and payroll/engagement initiatives.
  • Tech-comfortable, with familiarity with ATS platforms and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to use and help improve internal tools and automations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage nationwide clinical recruiting for Medical Assistants and LPNs.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for Medical Assistant contractor roles across multiple states, keeping pace with a growing workforce.
  • Oversee onboarding operations, including security, certifications, HIPAA training, and platform account setup.
  • Coordinate and schedule the first 1-2 weeks of Medical Assistant training on-site at Physicians Practices.
  • Track and manage the success of Medical Assistants during their first 30 days.
  • Partner with the SVP of Operations to track and manage MA staff productivity, communicate with MAs, and motivate performance improvement.
  • Maintain and improve contractor onboarding materials, FAQs, and candidate-facing resources.
  • Coordinate payroll processes using bill.com and ensure accurate, timely contractor payments.
  • Address day-to-day HR questions and issues from contractors and employees, escalating when necessary.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and executive leadership to define internal role requirements, compensation structures, and hiring timelines.
  • Maintain and improve the recruiting/HR tech stack, including ATS platforms and onboarding automation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive recruiting/HR workflows as the team scales.
  • Keep documentation, trackers, and dashboards current for leadership visibility into headcount, pipeline, and compliance status.
