About The Position

Wonolo is seeking a Recruiting Operations Specialist to join its Market Operations team. The role combines hands-on recruiting with customer- and worker-facing operations. The specialist will source, screen, and onboard workers across classifications, serve as a local contact for customers and Wonoloers, resolve issues, build relationships, and improve processes supporting placements and shifts. The schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours, with early mornings and evenings potentially required during peak periods. Qualified candidates should be located in the Atlanta or Dallas–Fort Worth area and be willing to travel within their local market.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency interpreting data, identifying trends, and using insights to make decisions and solve problems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the relevant local market.

  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications for recruiting teams and candidates.
  • Support Wonolo app and W-2 onboarding processes and coordinate with the W-2 Onboarding team to reduce idle time between screening and placement.
  • Serve as a local point of contact for customers and workers, monitor placed candidates’ performance, and resolve day-of or last-minute issues.
  • Travel to customer sites, such as warehouses or production facilities, to build candidate and customer relationships and coordinate workers’ on-site experience with the local Market Team.
  • Identify process improvements across recruiting and worker operations, track metrics, and use performance insights to inform decisions.
  • Partner with Market Operations, Marketing, Product, and regional Market and Sales teams on broader initiatives.
