T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire a Recruiting Manager to lead our recruiting team and drive the talent strategy for our solar module facility. This role manages a team of recruiters and coordinators, sets the sourcing and hiring strategy for production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse roles, and holds the team accountable to the metrics that keep pace with our rapid manufacturing growth. You’ll partner closely with plant operations leaders and HR to build a recruiting engine that consistently delivers the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience, including experience in high-volume, hourly, or manufacturing/industrial hiring.
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing or leading a recruiting team, including performance management and coaching direct reports.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to hit aggressive hiring targets, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or a similar production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics/reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of EEOC and other employment laws relevant to high-volume hiring.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Wilmer, TX manufacturing facility and adapt to the schedule of a 24/7 production operation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators responsible for high-volume hiring across production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse roles at the Wilmer manufacturing facility.
  • Set the sourcing strategy the team executes against, including job fairs, community partnerships, staffing agency relationships, and digital campaigns, to keep pace with aggressive hiring targets.
  • Plan team capacity and structure, hiring, onboarding, and assigning recruiters and coordinators as requisition volume shifts across the facility.
  • Set clear goals and hold the team accountable to time-to-fill, offer-acceptance, and quality-of-hire metrics, coaching individual recruiters to improve performance and grow in their roles.
  • Partner with plant operations and shift leaders to forecast headcount needs and build hiring plans that support production ramps and new shift launches.
  • Own the team’s hiring process end to end, identifying bottlenecks in the candidate journey and directing the team to resolve them and reduce time-to-start.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics and pipeline health to HR and plant leadership, using data to identify bottlenecks and adjust strategy in real time.
  • Ensure hiring practices comply with EEOC and other applicable federal and state employment regulations.
