About The Position

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to find, engage, and attract people who bring their communities to life. This role involves recruiting, relationship-building, events, and employer-brand storytelling. The position requires significant time in the field, hosting hiring events at communities, attending career fairs, developing partnerships with educational institutions, and collaborating with community leaders on staffing needs. When not traveling, the role is based in the Fort Worth office. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, event coordination, marketing, employer branding, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging social media or digital content — bring examples of your work.
  • Comfort capturing and editing video using mobile tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight travel and weekend recruiting events
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple communities, events, candidates, and priorities at the same time
  • Strong follow-through and a sense of urgency when working with candidates and hiring leaders
  • Genuine comfort connecting with people at every level of an organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, retail, or another high-volume hourly hiring environment
  • Experience working within an applicant tracking system
  • Experience coordinating recruiting campaigns across multiple locations or markets
  • Familiarity with employer branding, social recruiting, recruitment marketing, or organic social media content

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute on-site hiring events at Civitas Senior Living communities, partnering directly with Executive Directors and department leaders
  • Represent Civitas at career fairs, college and trade-school events, workforce programs, and other recruiting events across our markets
  • Build relationships with nursing programs, culinary schools, universities, workforce organizations, and other sources of talent
  • Create engaging employer-brand content, including short-form video, photography, social posts, and recruiting materials
  • Capture authentic stories from our communities, including team member spotlights, day-in-the-life content, hiring-event recaps, and workplace culture stories
  • Manage candidate activity within our applicant tracking system, including scheduling, candidate communication, follow-up, and pipeline management
  • Help ensure strong candidates keep moving through the hiring process and aren't lost because of slow follow-up
  • Partner with recruiters and community leaders on strategies for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions
  • Track recruiting effectiveness, including source of hire, event results, candidate conversion, content performance, and time-to-fill
  • Identify what is working across markets and help scale successful recruiting strategies throughout Civitas
