About The Position

As a Recruiting Assistant for Total Quality Logistics (TQL), you will directly support one of the company’s top Recruiters with tasks throughout the recruitment process. The role includes finding prospective candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate profiles in recruiting platforms while providing a high-quality candidate experience. The position is based at 200 Regency Executive Park Dr., Charlotte, NC 28217. TQL is a freight brokerage firm that connects customers needing truckload freight with carriers able to move it. The company operates 24/7/365 and describes opportunities for career advancement and career-path development. Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with candidates, team members, and hiring managers.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a large volume of tasks.
High sense of urgency and adaptability, with comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Proficiency with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

Source and screen candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screenings, and assessing qualifications.
Coordinate and schedule interviews throughout the selection process.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate relationship management system (CRM).
Help prepare interview materials, including interview guides, candidate assessments and testing, candidate evaluation forms, and background documents.
Support the Recruiter with other day-to-day responsibilities as needed.
