About The Position

S&G Carpet and More is seeking a dedicated Recruiting Assistant to join its team. S&G Carpet is committed to delivering a premier customer service experience, which relies on finding the right talent. As a Recruiting Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring S&G has the necessary talent to achieve its vision. Your role will involve developing hiring strategies, supporting S&G’s hiring managers, utilizing recruiting tools to identify key talent, and working to ensure S&G Carpet is staffed with top industry professionals. This is an in-office position located in West Sacramento, with no remote work option available. The flooring industry is a growing $15.5 billion per year sector offering opportunities for career advancement. S&G Carpet and More is the leading floor covering retailer in Northern California, known for its high-quality products, expert installation, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Adept at identifying key talent for the right role
• Prompt, dependable, and responsive to Company needs
• Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
• Exceptional team player and skilled at working well under pressure
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous, proven recruiting experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Help ensure S&G has the talent it needs to fulfil its vision
• Develop hiring strategies
• Assist S&G’s hiring managers
• Utilize recruiting tools to identify key talent
• Work to ensure that S&G Carpet is staffed with the best people in the industry
• Provide excellent customer service to candidates, hiring managers, peers, etc.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
