Requirements

  • 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting high-volume hiring for customer service, skilled trades, sales, or field service positions
  • Experience recruiting hourly employees within the home services, commercial services, skilled trades, logistics, or related industries
  • Comfortable managing 10 or more open requisitions simultaneously
  • Ability to support hiring across Eastern, Central, and Pacific Time Zones
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as BambooHR, CareerPlug, or similar platforms
  • Comfortable conducting phone and virtual interviews while evaluating candidate fit
  • Self-motivated with a desire to improve recruiting processes, develop recruiting metrics, and continuously grow professionally

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for primary positions, including Customer Service Representatives, Office Managers, Service Technicians, Route Drivers, and Sales Representatives.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, timelines, qualifications, scheduling requirements, and compensation expectations.
  • Review and maintain job descriptions prior to posting opportunities.
  • Post and manage job openings across BambooHR, CareerPlug, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Source qualified candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
  • Review applications and identify qualified candidates for further consideration.
  • Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate experience, communication skills, cultural fit, and overall qualifications.
  • Provide candidates with an honest overview of the role, expectations, and company culture.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with interview summaries, recommendations, and suggested next steps.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers from initial application through start date.
  • Help reduce candidate drop-off by providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, ratings, and statuses within BambooHR and CareerPlug.
  • Close requisitions promptly once positions have been filled.
  • Support the continued implementation and optimization of CareerPlug while maintaining accurate data between recruiting platforms.
  • Assist with developing standardized interview questions and recruiting best practices across core positions.
  • Build and maintain recruiting workflows that improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring positions, including Service Technicians, Route Drivers, Customer Service Representatives, Office Managers, and Sales Representatives.
  • Build relationships with high-quality candidates for future opportunities.
  • Re-engage previous candidates who may be a strong fit for newly opened positions.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions and competitive labor markets.
  • Leverage employee referral programs and additional sourcing channels to expand candidate pipelines.
  • Track recruiting metrics.
  • Partner with HR leadership to identify recruiting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help build and refine recruiting processes, reporting, and hiring best practices.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Support employee experience initiatives and other HR projects as assigned.
