About The Position

Our air conditioning brands are growing across three Florida markets, and finding great people is now the single biggest factor in how fast we can grow. We're hiring our first dedicated Recruiter to own that challenge — someone who keeps a steady pipeline of skilled technicians, installers, and office talent flowing while we scale. Right Away Group is a family of Florida home services brands: Hales Air Conditioning, serving Tampa Bay for more than 40 years; Climate Control Services in Palm Beach County; and Abraham AC in Broward County. We keep Florida homes cool and comfortable, and we're building the team — and the technology — to do it better than anyone in the state. As our Recruiter, you'll own full-cycle hiring across all three brands. Three months in, success looks like this: our service and install teams are fully, time-to-fill is down, hiring managers trust your pipeline, and you've helped put real HR foundations in place as the company grows. You'll work a hybrid schedule based out of either our St. Petersburg or Boynton Beach office.

Requirements

2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house or agency)
Experience filling high-volume or hard-to-fill hourly and field roles
Strong organization and communication — you follow up fast and keep candidates warm
Able to work a hybrid schedule from our St. Petersburg or Boynton Beach office, with occasional travel for job fairs and hiring events

Nice To Haves

Recruiting experience in skilled trades, home services, or construction
Working knowledge of ATS platforms and sourcing tools (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Exposure to broader HR work — onboarding, compliance, or employee relations

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruiting for field and office roles: HVAC service technicians, installers, comfort advisors (in-home sales), customer care representatives, and managers
Build always-on sourcing pipelines through job boards, trade schools, referral programs, social media, and local hiring events
Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring managers at each brand through a fast, consistent process
Track candidate records and hiring metrics like time-to-fill and pipeline health
Coordinate pre-employment steps: offers, background checks, drug screens, driving records, and license or certification verification (e.g., EPA 608)
Strengthen our employer brand so the best techs in Tampa Bay, Palm Beach, and Broward want to work here
Take on additional HR responsibilities as we grow — onboarding, compliance support, and HR administration
