About The Position

BrightStar Care of Chicago and La Grange is seeking a Full-Time Recruiter to join their growing team. This role is crucial in building and maintaining a strong healthcare workforce, focusing on high-volume sourcing and recruitment of Caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs for in-home care and staffing operations. The Recruiter will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviews, onboarding communication, and orientation. The position requires expanding the talent pipeline through creative strategies, community networking, partnerships, referrals, and other channels to enhance candidate quantity and quality. Additionally, the Recruiter will support new-hire onboarding and compliance, including coordinating communications, assisting with orientations, and ensuring employees are ready for scheduling. Other duties may involve maintaining employee credentials, assisting with file audits, supporting recruitment projects, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors or Associates degree in Human Resources or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience with a high school diploma.
  • 1-3 years of experience with recruiting, healthcare recruiting preferred.
  • 1-3 years working in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Ability to reliably commute to and work in-office in downtown Chicago.
  • Negative TB Test and Cleared Physical.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process from initial sourcing and applicant screening through interviews, onboarding communication, and orientation.
  • Expand talent pipeline through creative sourcing strategies, community networking, local partnerships, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
  • Improve both the quantity and quality of candidates.
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding and compliance processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding communications and documentation.
  • Assist with weekly orientations.
  • Ensure new employees are appropriately prepared and approved for scheduling.
  • Maintain employee credentials.
  • Assist with employee file audits.
  • Support recruitment-related projects.
  • Perform other administrative or operational initiatives as assigned.
