About The Position

We’re seeking a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support hiring efforts across multiple departments and properties. This role will primarily focus on interviewing candidates for hourly hospitality positions while also supporting other areas of the recruitment process. Working closely with other recruiting specialists and hiring managers, this position assists with sourcing, screening, onboarding support, recruiting events, and candidate engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about connecting great people with career opportunities in hospitality. This is an on-site role based in our Myrtle Beach, SC office.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in recruitment, administration, management, hospitality, or human resources strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Demonstrates strong technical proficiency and computer literacy, including Microsoft or Google Office and social media platforms
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative without waiting for direction
  • Critical thinker with the ability to independently problem-solve
  • Exceptional time management, multitasking, and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email and phone etiquette
  • Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs, including weekends and evenings on occasion, though the typical schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Conduct candidate interviews and telephone screenings to identify individuals who align with position requirements
  • Assist with pre-employment paperwork and start date coordination
  • Maintain organized and detailed recruitment records, including interview outcomes, candidate status updates, and hiring activity within the applicant tracking system
  • Communicate with hiring managers on a regular basis regarding open positions and their details, and create a strategy to fill each
  • Develop a strong understanding of current openings, property locations, company culture, benefits offerings, and local hiring trends to effectively promote opportunities
  • Proactively source candidates through diverse channels, independently identifying and utilizing innovative recruitment methods
  • Post open positions and source candidates through networking, job boards, associate referrals, social media, active applicants, college postings, and other venues
  • Attend college, company, community, and property job fairs as needed
  • Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline by reconnecting with past applicants and leveraging the Talent Pool
  • Communicate any deficiencies in the process or lags in response times to the Talent Acquisition Manager for correction
  • Other duties, as assigned
