Requirements

  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience with meaningful exposure to nursing, clinical, or healthcare roles.
  • Working knowledge of NJ nursing credentialing requirements and Compact License regulations.
  • Comfortable sourcing across multiple channels: job boards, social media, direct outreach, and referrals.
  • Proficient with ATS or HCM platforms; Paylocity familiarity is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and consistent follow-through; candidates and hiring managers both need to trust you.
  • Available to work fully on-site in Howell Township daily, with periodic local travel for outreach and events.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience recruiting for home health, pediatric, or long-term care settings.
  • Familiarity with the NJ healthcare talent market.
  • Experience in high-volume or competitive recruiting environments.
  • Comfort operating inside a small, growing HR function — self-directed and adaptable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for RN and LPN roles: source, screen, interview, coordinate, and extend offers in partnership with leadership.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified local nurses interested in pediatric home health, keeping candidates engaged for current and future openings.
  • Source candidates through healthcare job boards (NJSNA Career Center, Health eCareers), social media, nursing school partnerships, and direct outreach.
  • Draft and post job descriptions on relevant platforms; keep postings current and NJ-compliant.
  • Conduct structured screening interviews to assess clinical background, pediatric experience, and fit for delivering in-home care to medically complex children.
  • Manage applicant records in Paylocity, keeping documentation accurate and current throughout the hiring process.
  • Support and collaborate with HR on HRIS functionality, optimization and alignment to organizational practices of documentation and tracking.
  • Represent Towne Kids at local job fairs, nursing school events, and community outreach — building employer brand in Monmouth County and surrounding areas.
  • Track key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline health) and share regular updates with leadership.
  • Collaborate with HR and compliance to ensure all recruiting and selection practices align with NJ regulations and applicable employment law.
  • Coordinate with HR, Operations, and Clinical teams on new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth handoff from offer to start date.
