About The Position

This is a temporary (fixed term) contract role for a Recruiter, lasting 3 months. The position offers both full-time and part-time hours and is based on-site at Blue Mountain Resort. The role involves sourcing, researching, screening, and interviewing candidates for high-volume seasonal job openings within a resort setting. The Recruiter will extend job offers, coordinate onboarding, and act as a liaison between business units and international partners to secure the best talent. Collaboration with business unit leaders to understand their needs and promote employment at Blue Mountain through social media are key aspects of the role. The position requires interviewing and assessing candidates, partnering with hiring managers for final decisions, managing candidate profiles, creating employment contracts, and attending job fairs and recruiting events.

Requirements

  • Innovative people-person with a passion for collaboration and fun.
  • Sales mentality - driven, enthusiastic, enjoy speaking to groups and ready to share our resort experience with potential candidates.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive situations.
  • Flexibility to work in Collingwood (both onsite at resort and the satellite office) and hit the road for recruitment events.
  • G-Class Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, researching, screening, and interviewing candidates for high volume seasonal job openings in a Resort setting.
  • Making job offers and coordinating the on-boarding of successful candidates.
  • Acting as a liaison between Business Units and Community/International partners to source and select the best candidates.
  • Collaborating with business unit leaders to understand their unique needs and find the perfect candidates.
  • Using Social Media savvy and skills to promote employment at Blue Mountain.
  • Screening, assessing and shortlisting top-notch candidates using interview and people skills.
  • Partnering with Hiring Manager to interview candidates and make final hire decisions.
  • Inputting resumes and candidate profiles, creating employment contracts and making job offers.
  • Enthusiastically attending job fairs and recruiting events in the community.
