About The Position

Lordco Auto Parts is seeking a Recruiter to join their Human Resources team at their Port Coquitlam Head Office. This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Lordco Auto Parts is described as Canada’s largest privately owned automotive parts distributor and Western Canada’s leading distributor and retailer of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories, serving customers since 1974 with over 85 locations across Western Canada. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment tools
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders, departments, or geographic regions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is considered an asset
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting creation, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, background verification, and offer letter preparation
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across a variety of roles
  • Build strong candidate pipelines through sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other networking platforms
  • Support recruitment initiatives including hiring events, career fairs, community partnerships, and social media campaigns
  • Manage and maintain job postings across internal and external career platforms
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates and reporting to leadership
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver a positive hiring experience
  • Ensure recruitment processes are consistently followed and aligned with company policies and best practices
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support organizational and talent acquisition objectives
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships while managing multiple requisitions and priorities
  • Assist with additional HR and recruitment-related projects as required

Benefits

  • $55,000 – $60,000 annualized salary - prorated for term of employment
