About The Position

Rho is seeking a primary Recruiter for the US to focus on identifying and hiring high-integrity operators. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on building the backbone of the business. The Recruiter will lead searches with urgency and precision, bringing a deep understanding of the tech talent market. The role is open to various recruiting backgrounds, including technical recruiting, GTM or G&A hiring, and regulated industries. The ideal candidate knows how to run a disciplined search, close strong candidates, and operate like an owner. This role reports directly to Rho’s Head of People & Talent and is based out of the Salt Lake City office, requiring a 5-day-a-week in-office presence.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, with depth in at least one domain (Technical, GTM, G&A, or regulated functions like finance, risk, compliance).
  • Experience operating in high-accountability environments (startups, fintech, financial services, or similarly rigorous orgs).
  • High ownership and accountability—you take responsibility for getting the job done.
  • Strong knowledge of the Salt Lake City financial talent market—where to find it, how to close it.
  • Operational excellence—you know how to run a disciplined search and coach hiring managers along the way.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills.
  • A bias for urgency, ownership, and high standards.
  • Confidence working with sensitive roles and high-integrity functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting from kickoff to close for priority roles across the business, aligned to your strengths (e.g., Technical, GTM, G&A, Risk/Compliance, Operations).
  • Find creative ways to position Rho before the strongest operators in the business; A/B test messaging; take a human-first approach.
  • Obsess over our metrics and beating them, all the time.
  • Partner with the Talent & People org and cross-functional partners globally to advance and absorb Rho’s talent brand and strategy.
  • Focus on quality over quantity.
  • Act as an owner: your job is not to hire people—it’s to build a business.
