Requirements

  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles, practices, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Results oriented and has proven project management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards relevant designation preferred.
  • Generalist HRPD experience an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the project management process, execution, and support of company-wide initiatives.
  • Conducts research, analysis, program design, and communication in all areas.
  • Responsible for the administration of all documentation (guides, FAQs, forms, etc.), ensuring it is relevant, current, and easily accessible.
  • Identifies and evaluates appropriate external vendors, consultants, and partners, and manages relationships and deliverables.
  • Collaborates with other corporate departments and the HR Leadership team to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
