For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will support high-volume hiring initiatives by managing multiple open positions simultaneously while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication, efficient coordination, and compliance with organizational hiring practices. This is an on-site position, requiring the selected candidate to work at Center Albany locations as part of our Human Resources team.

Requirements

  • High school/GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Coordination, or related field required
  • Experience supporting recruitment or talent acquisition in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment activities for multiple high-volume openings simultaneously.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team members and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communications, and assist with offer preparation and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a professional and positive hiring experience.
  • Post job openings on various recruitment platforms and assist with candidate sourcing and outreach initiatives.
  • Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records within Workday
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Assist with high-volume hiring campaigns while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
