About The Position

At some point in the future, every business will answer their phone with voice AI. We are building the platform that makes it possible. Phonely builds conversational voice AI agents for high volume phone workflows. Our customers use us to qualify leads, book appointments, route calls, and resolve real customer conversations in production. We are growing fast and just getting started, and the team you help us build is what makes that possible. About the Role We’re hiring a recruiter to help us find and win great people. This is a sourcing-heavy, outbound-first role: you’ll live in the top of the funnel, hunting for talent and getting them excited about Phonely. It’s a ground-floor seat at a fast-moving startup, which means you’ll learn a ton quickly, get real ownership from day one, and have room to grow into recruiting, marketing, or wherever your interests take you across GTM. If you want to wear multiple hats and figure out what you’re great at, this is the spot.

Requirements

1 year of experience or less, we’re hiring for hunger and potential, not resume length
Any outbound experience is a big plus (BDR, SDR, recruiting, or any role with cold outreach)
Genuine excitement for talking to people and tracking down great talent
A bias for action and comfort with a fast, ambiguous startup pace
Curiosity about GTM broadly and a desire to grow into it

Nice To Haves

Experience with an ATS or CRM
A track record of hitting outbound targets in a prior role

Responsibilities

Source top candidates across roles through outbound outreach and creative channels
Build and run outbound pipelines to keep our funnel full and moving
Partner with hiring managers to understand what great looks like for each role
Own a great candidate experience from first message to offer
Track and manage candidates through our ATS (Ashby)
Help sharpen our sourcing playbooks and outreach as we scale
Pitch in across GTM as you grow, recruiting, marketing, and beyond
