As our Recruiter – Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in fueling the growth of The Gund Company by attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across multiple locations. This position reports directly to the HRBP and serves as a key partner to business leaders, hiring managers, and HR teams throughout the organization. This is more than a recruiting role. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 5-7 years of high-volume recruiting experience, including success in manufacturing, distribution, operations, warehouse, skilled trades, customer service, or professional hiring.
  • Experience managing 30 or more concurrent requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong full-cycle recruiting skills, from intake and sourcing through interviewing, selection, offer, and follow-up.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws, recruiting compliance, and hiring best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • Ability to travel periodically for hiring events, career fairs, and business meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic partnership with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines.
  • Inventive sourcing strategies and sustainable talent pipelines for current and future manufacturing needs.
  • Thoughtful candidate screening, assessment, and hiring recommendations.
  • Clear, timely communication that creates a positive experience for every candidate and hiring team.
  • Strong community presence through job fairs, workforce development programs, schools, and local partnerships.
  • Accurate ATS records and practical recruiting insights using time-to-fill, requisition aging, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, quality-of-hire, retention, and candidate-experience data.
  • A commitment to equitable, compliant hiring practices and continuous improvement.
