About The Position

This position recruits, interviews, checks references, extends offers, and facilitates orientation for new employees, while also managing exit interviews and employee status changes. The role follows established processes and guidelines, works under close supervision, and is ideal for someone early in their talent acquisition career who is eager to build experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, including candidate sourcing and screening.
  • Ability to conduct structured interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Skill in checking references and documenting findings accurately.
  • Capability to prepare and communicate job offers clearly and professionally.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding or orientation activities for new hires.
  • Ability to perform exit interviews and document feedback in a professional manner.
  • Familiarity with commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Comfort working under immediate supervision and following established guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a similar support role in talent acquisition.
  • Exposure to structured recruiting processes and workflows in a corporate or operations environment.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment and take direction from supervisors.
  • Attention to detail in handling candidate information and employee status changes.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified candidates for roles using established sourcing strategies and tools.
  • Conduct candidate interviews to assess skills, experience, and fit for open positions.
  • Check and verify candidate references in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates, ensuring clear communication of role expectations.
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation activities for new employees to support a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Perform exit interviews with departing employees to capture feedback and insights.
  • Process changes in employee status, ensuring accurate and timely updates to relevant systems and documentation.
  • Follow pre-established recruiting guidelines, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and the talent acquisition team to align recruiting efforts with hiring needs.
  • Maintain organized records of candidates, interviews, offers, and onboarding activities.
  • Support recruiting coordination activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in recruiting and sourcing to meet hiring goals.
