About The Position

CocuSocial is seeking experienced chef instructors to teach live, in-person recreational cooking, pastry, mixology, and wine tasting classes. This is not a virtual opportunity. Instructors can either use their own venue (home, restaurant, commercial kitchen, event space) or teach at one of CocuSocial's partner venues. The hosting location must be within a 40-minute drive of the specified city. This role offers flexible scheduling, the chance to teach preferred recipes, support in class creation, and a revenue-sharing compensation model with potential for higher earnings based on class capacity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience teaching recreational cooking classes.
• Comfortable teaching popular international dishes such as Sushi, Dumplings, Pad Thai, Pasta, Pizza, Paella, Tapas, French Macaron, French Pastry, and more.
• Access to a venue (home, restaurant, commercial kitchen, or event space) or willingness to teach at CocuSocial partner venues.
• The venue/home must be able to accommodate at least 6 people (indoor and/or outdoor) if teaching in one's own space.
• The hosting location must be within a 40-minute driving distance of the city.

Responsibilities

• Leading and organizing the entire class.
• Purchasing ingredients.
• Setting up the class space (according to social distancing guidelines).
• Teaching each dish step-by-step in a hands-on manner.
• Cleaning up the class space.
