Recreational Chef Instructor
About The Position
CocuSocial is seeking experienced chef instructors to teach live, in-person recreational cooking, pastry, mixology, and wine tasting classes. This is not a virtual opportunity. Instructors can either use their own venue (home, restaurant, commercial kitchen, event space) or teach at one of CocuSocial's partner venues. The chosen location must be within a 40-minute drive of the city. Chef Instructors will have flexible scheduling, the chance to teach recipes they are passionate about, support from a team to develop popular classes, and compensation based on a revenue sharing model. The role involves leading and organizing the entire class, including purchasing ingredients, setting up according to social distancing guidelines, teaching step-by-step in a hands-on manner, and cleaning up.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience teaching recreational cooking classes
- Comfortable teaching popular international dishes such as Sushi, Dumplings, Pad Thai, Pasta, Pizza, Paella, Tapas, French Macaron, French Pastry, and more.
- Venue/home must be able to accommodate at least 6 people (indoor and/or outdoor) if teaching in your own space.
