About The Position

Responsible for opening and/or closing the facilities, assisting in administering and enforcing rules and regulations, policies, and implementing procedures. This role involves providing customer service to homeowners and guests, maintaining facility cleanliness and order, assisting with events, and performing basic office duties.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Maintain company-provided courses and certification for CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all opening/closing procedures affiliated with the lodge, including facility checks for safety, maintenance, damages, repairs, and cleanliness.
  • Complete opening/closing checklists, which may include unlocking/locking doors, setting alarms, operating electronics, preparing coffee/water/tea, and inputting work orders.
  • Check and log pool and spa water temperatures twice during each shift.
  • Provide customer service to homeowners and guests by greeting them, conveying a positive demeanor, and answering questions about facility usage and events.
  • Enforce rules, regulations, and policies established by the Board of Directors.
  • Handle resident issues politely and patiently, reporting concerns to the General Manager (GM).
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, and respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours.
  • Ensure homeowners and guests complete the sign-in log upon entering the facility.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy front desk area.
  • Identify urgent issues and report them to the GM.
  • Perform basic office duties such as photocopying, filing, faxing, light typing, and record keeping.
  • Obtain necessary forms from new homeowners and residents to issue fob access.
  • Prepare and distribute incident reports when required.
  • Enforce pool and spa rules.
  • Keep all rooms and outdoor recreation areas neat and clean, including organizing furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Check out sports equipment.
  • Perform room set-ups and take-downs for reserved events, clubs, and committees.
  • Assist the Activities Director with events, excursions, and reservations.
  • Handle sign-ups for events, classes, and excursions.
  • Maintain company-provided courses and certifications for CPR and First Aid.
  • Cover shifts when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation.
