About The Position

This role involves enriching the lives of residents in an aged care facility by planning and delivering engaging lifestyle, wellbeing, social, and recreational programs. The goal is to promote independence, connection, and happiness among residents. The position is permanent part-time and requires weekend availability.

Requirements

Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (essential)
Previous experience in aged care or a similar environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisation and time management abilities
Confidence using Microsoft Office, email, smart phones, and digital devices
Understanding of Aged Care Standards, Resident Rights, and WHS principles
Ability to work independently and problem solve effectively
Provide evidence of vaccinations in line with UPA’s Immunisation Policy, including COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations
Complete a National Criminal History Check
Undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
