About The Position

CCMC, a community management company, is seeking a Lifestyle Director to create memorable experiences and make a positive difference. The company specializes in large-scale communities and aims to revolutionize the industry with a resident-centric focus, guided by core values of Integrity, Respect, Service, and Community. The community itself is described as having historic county charm, with amenities like a recreation pavilion center, running trails, sports courts, a playground, and a resort-style pool. Future amenities include soccer and baseball fields. The Lifestyle Director will play a key role in executing the company's purpose of building community by bringing people together through events, programming, and communications.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work onsite at the community.
  • Must work full-time hours Monday - Friday, with the ability to work additional hours on some nights, weekends, and holidays for events.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with a resident board and committee members, as well as volunteers.
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations, or other related experience.
  • 2 years of professional experience with creating and managing communications.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, driving record, and background check.
  • If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits.
  • Ability to create a strong, professional, and symbiotic relationship with the Board of Directors.
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking and engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelors Degree or higher, ideally in recreation, communications, journalism, or community development from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, planning, promoting, and executing a comprehensive community event and programming calendar for residents.
  • Working cohesively with the Communications Associate in developing content for community communications (website, newsletters, promotional materials, social media accounts, etc.).
  • Producing, maintaining, and following an annual budget for activity income and expenses.
  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with local organizations and businesses to benefit residents and the overall community.
  • Overseeing the operation of the amenity center including rentals.
  • Developing and implementing general policies and procedures.
  • Administrative duties.
  • Creation, coordination, and support for community clubs, groups, and committees.
  • Creation of a strong, professional, and symbiotic relationship with the Board of Directors.
