About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is hiring a Recreation Therapist to work onsite at its secure residential mental health program at the Illinois Department of Human Services Treatment and Detention Facility in Rushville, Illinois. The role involves engaging with clients individually and in groups, assessing their interests, and designing and leading prosocial activities in collaboration with other recreation therapists and mental health professionals.

This is a full-time weekday position. The schedule may be arranged as four 10-hour workdays per week. The starting salary range is $58,000 to $64,000, depending on experience and certification status.
