About The Position

The Recreation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort pool and recreation areas while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, safety compliance, and team performance at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort. This role supports pool attendants and recreation associates while maintaining Omni’s high standards of hospitality and service excellence. The ideal candidate is energetic, guest-focused, organized, and passionate about creating memorable resort experiences for guests and families.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in recreation, pool operations, hospitality, or resort environments preferred.
  • Strong guest service and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Previous luxury resort experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily pool and recreation operations to ensure outstanding guest service and safety.
  • Lead, train, schedule, and motivate pool attendants and recreation associates.
  • Monitor pool deck cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
  • Assist with recreation programming, activities, and seasonal events.
  • Monitor inventory levels of towels, recreation supplies, and pool equipment.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping teams to maintain facility conditions.
  • Enforce resort pool rules and safety guidelines courteously and consistently.
  • Assist management with payroll, scheduling, and operational reporting.
  • Support revenue-generating recreation activities and cabana operations as applicable.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere for guests of all ages.
  • Participate in MOD support and other resort operational needs as required.
