About The Position
Under general supervision, the Recreation Programs Instructor I implements assigned recreation programs. The employee assists with planning activities and follows lesson plans for assigned programs while keeping activities fun for all participants. The position requires working City events, holidays, and weekends as needed. The City of McAllen serves a population of nearly 148,000 and offers nature tourism, arts and entertainment, sporting and outdoor activities, and year-round family-friendly events.
