About The Position
Mill Creek MetroParks is currently seeking an organized, positive, and professional leader to manage our Recreation department. The Recreation Manager is responsible for the successful administration and operations of all facets of recreational programming at Mill Creek MetroParks. Responsibilities include overseeing Wick Recreation Area, Boathouses, and athletic areas, supervising recreation staff, and ensuring high-quality programming, facilities, and visitor experiences.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with minimum high school completion or GED
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Parks Administration, Sports Administration, Recreation, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in operation of a recreation facility, event center, or related venue
- Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated supervisory experience
