RECREATION MANAGER
About The Position
South Florida Youth Academy is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk male youth aged 14 to 18 who require behavioral/mental health, substance abuse, and major disorder services. The programs utilize evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while at the program. As a Recreational Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent with one to three years' experience.
- Working knowledge of the Positive Operation Culture.
- Leadership ability is necessary to instill high-standard positive attitudes among staff and students.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively serve students.
