About The Position

This position will be assigned to the Senior Center. With supervision, the Recreation Leader III will deliver programs and events directly to the public; open and close facilities; assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies/equipment, set-up, assigning duties and take-down for programs and events; perform cursory cleanup of facility as needed; follow all City and Center policies and procedures; responsible for the care and safety of participants.

Requirements

Experience in public program/event delivery and staff supervision
Knowledge of cash handling
Ability to work with senior citizens
Skill in customer service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
Minimum age of 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role
Possession of a valid class "C" Texas driver's license or higher
Ability to obtain relevant certifications within time period designated by supervisor
Must comply with City of Conroe direct deposit payroll policy
