Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs as relevant to assigned lines of business, facility operations, and events in alignment with department business plan. Ensure availability of equipment, facilities, supplies, and staff or volunteers to monitor the activities. Assist in the development and progress of assigned lines of business and department business plan. Work requires limited supervision and the use of independent judgment, discretion, and scheduling. This role oversees the development, promotion, and implementation of diversified programs for all ages, responds to patron inquiries, prepares various reports and documents including contracts and budget estimates, and assists with budget management. The coordinator provides front counter customer service, handles cash, registers customers, and schedules facility use. They work independently to manage schedules and oversee programs at designated locations, collaborate with teams, vendors, contractors, and city staff, and perform routine facility maintenance and logistics. Specifically for Athletic Leagues, the coordinator plans, coordinates, and evaluates youth and adult athletic leagues, tournaments, and wellness programs, overseeing scheduling, team management, reporting, and league software operations, and providing facility oversight and front desk support. This position requires evening and weekend availability for games and tournaments.
