About The Position

The Recreation Attendant, Athletics provides and monitors customer-focused programs for the Recreation Division, including youth volleyball and basketball. The role delivers guest service by greeting guests, setting up athletic equipment and gymnasiums for practices and games, and helping administer athletic programs.

Staff will also be cross-trained to assist with Winter Break Camp Mania, helping create a fun, safe, and engaging experience for children ages 5–11. Activities include games, crafts, outdoor adventures, and group activities. Staff encourage positive behavior and teamwork while ensuring campers’ safety and well-being.

Required availability includes two weeknights and a Saturday shift, either in the morning or afternoon. Schedules vary and may require evenings and weekends; the position offers 10–28 hours per week.

Requirements

• Positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to remain flexible with a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience working with children.
• Availability for two weeknights and one Saturday shift, either morning or afternoon.
