Part Time Recreation Aide
About The Position
Recreation Aides at Oaknoll play a vital role in improving and stimulating the mental and physical abilities of our residents, as well as contributing to their overall engagement and quality of life. Oaknoll strives to make the lives of its residents and staff meaningful and fulfilling. The community is seeking a part-time Recreation Aide for its recreation team, with hours generally ranging from 10-15 hours per week, including afternoons, holidays, and at least six Saturdays and/or Sundays each month. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, energetic, passionate about working with seniors, and willing to take initiative to engage residents with recreational opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities including exercises, trivia, cooking etc.
- Plan and implement one-on-one activities as directed.
- Assist with preparation of monthly activity calendars.
- Document resident participation in department records.
