Part Time Recreation Aide
About The Position
Recreation Aides at Oaknoll play a vital role in improving and stimulating the mental and physical abilities of residents, as well as contributing to their overall engagement and quality of life. Oaknoll is a not-for-profit community that provides resident-centered care and services through its CREATE culture, which stands for caring, respect, enthusiasm, awareness, teamwork, and encouragement. The organization believes in fostering joyful, active, and connected lives for seniors and providing competent, caring, and compassionate health care. Oaknoll strives to make the lives of both residents and staff meaningful and fulfilling. The community is seeking a part-time Recreation Aide for 10-15 hours per week, including afternoons, holidays, and at least six Saturdays and/or Sundays each month.

- Experience working with people with dementia preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities including exercises, trivia, cooking etc.
- Plan and implement one-on-one activities as directed.
- Assist with preparation of monthly activity calendars.
- Document resident participation in department records.
