About The Position
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency dedicated to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. With programs across Southeastern Massachusetts, High Point offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. The agency also supports survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point operates on the belief that every individual possesses inherent goodness, worth, and dignity, aiming to empower individuals and families to achieve personal change and enhance their quality of life. As High Point prepares to open its new Hyannis facility in October 2026, they are seeking an experienced leader to help establish this new location, focusing on clinical excellence, team guidance, and expanding community access to care.
Requirements
- Knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
Responsibilities
- Facilitate & document groups discussions
- Complete client admission documentation
- Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit
- Observation & accounting of patients at all times insuring safety (hourly checks w/ documentation)
- Escorting patients to meals & fresh air breaks
- Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings
