About The Position

Join Telecare and be part of a team supporting adults experiencing mental health crises on their journey toward recovery. This is a great opportunity for candidates with healthcare, caregiving, or human services experience who want to grow in behavioral health. As a Recovery Specialist II, you’ll help create a safe, supportive healing environment by supporting individuals in recovery through daily interactions and skill building, assisting with groups, therapeutic activities, and individualized service plans, observing and responding to behavioral and physical health needs, using basic healthcare and mental health support skills in a hands-on setting, partnering with a treatment team to support recovery goals, and helping individuals feel respected, empowered, and supported during crisis stabilization. This is meaningful frontline work where compassion, teamwork, and calm problem-solving make a difference every day.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of experience in mental health, healthcare, caregiving, or a related support setting OR Bachelor’s degree plus one (1) year of related mental health experience
  • Basic knowledge of health and behavioral support practices
  • Current Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential or CNA (or ability to obtain qualifying credential as required)

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral health or psychiatric settings experience
  • CNA, caregiving, residential treatment, or direct support roles experience
  • EMT, medical assistant, rehab support, case management support experience
  • Human services or social service experience
