About The Position

The Recovery Services Attendant is responsible for providing support to clients utilizing the recovery services offered by One50Fitness. This role ensures that clients have a safe, comfortable, and efficient recovery experience, while also maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall smooth operation of the recovery area. The Recovery Services Attendant is expected to offer guidance on service usage, assist with client needs, and promote recovery offerings. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

  • Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.
  • Knowledge of Recovery Services: Familiarity with various recovery modalities (e.g., cryotherapy, red light therapy) is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow safety procedures, monitor client sessions, and maintain a clean and organized recovery area.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and assist clients for extended periods. Light lifting may be required.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal communication when interacting with clients and team members.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic understanding of scheduling software or booking systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a positive, professional attitude while adhering to the facility’s policies and procedures.
  • Certification in CPR and AED are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in wellness, fitness, or recovery services is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge or interest in fitness, recovery, or wellness industries is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Client Assistance: Greet clients using recovery services (e.g., cryotherapy, red light therapy, infrared saunas, tanning), explain the benefits and procedures, and ensure they are comfortable with the process.
  • Monitoring Sessions: Supervise recovery sessions to ensure safety, proper usage of equipment, and client satisfaction.
  • Maintaining Equipment: Ensure recovery equipment is in proper working condition, clean, and ready for use. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the recovery area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitized between client sessions.
  • Scheduling and Client Management: Assist with scheduling client appointments for recovery services, track session usage, and help clients check in the system.
  • Client Education: Provide basic guidance on how to use recovery equipment and explain any safety precautions or aftercare guidelines.
  • Promoting Services: Educate clients about additional recovery services, programs, or packages available to enhance their experience and well-being.
  • Customer Service: Address any client inquiries, concerns, or feedback in a professional and courteous manner. Resolve issues promptly or escalate them as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring supplies and inventory of recovery-related products (e.g., towels, lotions, etc.) and notify management when stock needs replenishing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other staff members to coordinate services, support marketing efforts, and maintain a high standard of care for clients.
