About The Position

Saint Peter's is seeking a talented, compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Recovery Room nursing team. The Recovery Room RN contributes to a collaborative nursing team and provides patient care according to established nursing standards and policies.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained during clinical orientation.
• PALS certification must be obtained during clinical orientation.
• Complete an ECG course during clinical orientation.
• Complete a Critical Care course during clinical orientation.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
• Assess assigned patients to determine their health status in accordance with Nursing Standards.
• Ensure procedures are performed according to established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously.
