About The Position

The Genesis Program Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Genesis Recovery Program, with primary responsibility for intake coordination, program flow, and staff direction during assigned shifts. This role ensures that program expectations, structure, and routines are consistently followed and that operations run efficiently. Due to program demographics, only male candidates will be considered for this role. This position provides operational leadership within the program but does not serve as a formal supervisor of staff. At New Life Center, our work is grounded in our Chrisitan mission and values. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be engaged in a local church and exhibit a personal, evident, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Compassionate heart for those in need.
  • Willingness to serve others.
  • Desire to see the lost be transformed through the love of Christ.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with the organization's insurance carrier requirements, and provide proof of insurance, as required for the performance of job duties.

  • If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained recovery with active participation in a 12-step program is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Two or more years of sustained recovery with active participation in a 12-step program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meetings and complete all required intake documentation.
  • Provide orientation to new program participants.
  • Ensure all intake data is accurately entered into Mission Tracker.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions into the Genesis Program.
  • Achieve continuous program operation at full capacity.
  • Manage the program application and waitlist.
  • Oversee daily program flow and ensure adherence to schedules and routines.
  • Maintain structure, accountability, and consistency within the program environment.
  • Address day-to-day guest concerns and escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure program guidelines and expectations are consistently upheld.
  • Assist with and, at times, take the lead on outings and events.
  • Provide direction to staff during assigned shifts to ensure completion of responsibilities.
  • Delegate tasks and monitor execution of daily duties.
  • Offer real-time coaching, guidance, and support to staff.
  • Assist in onboarding and training staff on program procedures.
  • Communicate staff performance concerns to the Program Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in Mission Tracker.
  • Track program participation, attendance, and required metrics.
  • Assist in compiling program data and reports.
  • Maintain organized program records and documentation.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with program participants.
  • Provide guidance, encouragement, and redirection consistent with program expectations.
  • Identify and communicate guest needs or concerns to appropriate staff.
  • Work in coordination with the Program Manager and Case Manager.
  • Communicate relevant updates regarding guests and program operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program improvement efforts.
  • Work with the Program Manager and Operations to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and good operation of the facility.
  • Direct staff activities during assigned shifts.
  • Assign and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback.
  • Address operational and guest-related issues as they arise.
  • Attend and, at times, lead organizational, team, and guest meetings.

Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $48,000/year
