Mental Health Recovery Coach
About The Position
Monte Nido Clementine Naperville is a residential treatment program in Naperville, Illinois, exclusively serving adolescents seeking treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or exercise addiction. The program supports adolescents and their families through recovery, helping clients build healthy skills and prepare to navigate life without an eating disorder, while involving families as partners in the recovery process. The Recovery Coach joins the Clementine team and supports clients throughout their recovery journey. The position is part-time and requires availability for either Tuesday and Wednesday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., or Friday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Pay is $17–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- At least two years of post-high-school education.
- A valid state-issued driver’s license and a safe driving history.
- Good communication and client-relations skills.
- Service orientation, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired; it is required in some states.
Responsibilities
- Support and integrate clients through their recovery journey.
- Provide support and interventions consistent with each client’s treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with other clients in the milieu and with the team.
- Assist with food preparation and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
- Participate in exposure to therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
