About The Position

The Records Conversion Project Manager is a hands-on manager responsible for supervising and training staff, maintaining production quotas, and overseeing the conversion of New Jersey State Police records from microfiche and microfilm to digital images. This role involves managing the project timeline, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery of high-quality images to meet the project’s specifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of records management and project management experience.
  • Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft/Google Suite
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems and digital imaging technologies.
  • Experience in Records Management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support production staff including scan operators, QA personnel, and indexers
  • Develop project plans by assigning tasks, timelines, and staff
  • Serve as one of the primary operational contacts for the client and Access NJ
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to the project and the security of the client’s records
  • Recommend and implement efficiencies.
  • Adherence to CJIS or agency-specific security protocols (if applicable)
  • Strict confidentiality requirements.
