Under the supervision of the Administrative Services Captain, this role rotates through various assignments including typing, complaint processing, and accident processing. The Records Clerk is responsible for typing complaint reports, entering information from complaints and accident reports into the computer, and transcribing taped confessions, statements, and interviews. This position may also serve as the Eaton County Sheriff's Office LEIN Tac and provides information and assistance to the public. The position can be located at either the main office in Charlotte or the Delta Township Sheriff Substation, depending on staffing needs. Starting pay is based on relevant experience.
