About The Position

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is seeking a Records Clerk to research, identify, and assess Indian lease land deficiencies and provide written recommendations to cure them. This role involves extensive research and analysis to identify title deficiencies and/or unauthorized deeds of trust, preparing analysis and recommendations, compiling necessary documentation, and providing administrative assistance to facilitate transactions. The Records Clerk will also work closely with the Escrow Community, Realtors, Lenders, and Title Companies. This position is with the leading employer in the Coachella Valley, Agua Caliente, which offers a comprehensive benefit and compensation package.

• Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations
• Familiarity with best business practices of the Escrow Community
• Extensive knowledge of Agua Caliente land base
• Extensive knowledge of BIA Residential Leases
• Extensive knowledge of Residential Lease forms, processes and fees

Responsibilities

• Research, identify and assess Indian lease land deficiencies
• Provide written recommendations to cure Indian lease land deficiencies
• Compile all necessary documentation necessary to cure deficiencies
• Provide administrative assistance to facilitate transactions
• Work closely with the Escrow Community, Realtors, Lenders and Title Companies
• Other duties as assigned
