About The Position

Savan Group is seeking a Project Manager to join its Records Information Management (RIM) service line and actively participate in project execution, stakeholder management, and key business development activities. Our PMs play a critical role in projects by leading projects through the entire initiative lifecycle, including staffing, planning, and execution. Savan Group values rigorous problem-solving and analytical skills to support our clients. In this role, you will serve as Savan Group’s project lead for a Federal RIM advisory engagement. You will oversee a team of consultants and RIM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who provide enterprise records management support spanning the records lifecycle. You should have a working knowledge of policy, procedures, guidance, and, technology involved in managing federal records management or other information-related programs. You will be expected to define program requirements, coordinate cross-functionally to apply those requirements, and prepare stakeholders for sustained records management compliance. Familiarity with best practices for paper and electronic records is required. As the PM, you will be the principal point of contact for Savan Group within the project team, coordinating and supporting team meetings, aligning project schedules, and reporting project status, risks, and milestones to clients. As a Savan Group PM, you will also manage and provide internal reporting on project financials, growth/business development, and staff performance.

Requirements

  • 6 years’ experience providing project management services for management consulting engagements in data and information management, and/or information technology environments
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS)
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Public Trust
  • Strong and consistent business writing
  • Detailed understanding of Federal laws regulations and practices impacting the creation, use and management of federal records and information.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex records and information management (RIM), information governance, or related federal consulting projects.
  • Ability to translate regulatory, policy, and contractual requirements into actionable project activities, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with electronic records management technologies, repositories, or related enterprise information management solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, client relationships, project schedules, resources, risks, costs, and performance in a consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to quickly understand complex business processes, advise senior stakeholders, and develop clear recommendations and executive-level deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee delivery of records and information management (RIM) services across the records lifecycle, ensuring compliance with applicable federal records management requirements.
  • Manage project work plans, resources, schedules, costs, risks, quality, and performance reporting; monitor progress against authorized tasks and ensure timely delivery of required project reports and deliverables.
  • Serve as a primary point of coordination with client leadership and project stakeholders to establish priorities, clarify requirements, resolve issues, and maintain alignment on project activities and deliverables.
  • Assess records management programs, business processes, metrics, and supporting artifacts and develop actionable recommendations to improve compliance, efficiency, and program performance.
  • Design, document, and coordinate implementation of records management program policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and related guidance or training.
  • Advise stakeholders and project team members on appropriate courses of action for complex enterprise records and information management challenges.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and application of records inventories, file plans, records schedules, retention and disposition requirements, and related RIM program artifacts
