The Recording Secretary provides clerical support to the City Clerk related to City Council, Board and/or Commission meetings. This position is primarily responsible for attending meetings, summarizing information, capturing decisions and the thought process behind them, and producing accurate, concise, and complete meeting records in a timely manner. While these areas are the primary focus of this position, employees will be called upon to perform a variety of duties as a part of their role with the City.
