About The Position

Contract opportunity as a Record Specialist for Westinghouse Columbia, SC. You will report to the Engineering Supervisor. This role is responsible for site records coordination, product certification and scanning of documents into electronic systems. You will use multiple electronic database systems to review and over-check incoming documents, interface with Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer component of the business and escalate/support compliance issues.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or the recognized equivalent
  • 0 or more years of experience in a support administrative or technical function
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Experience using Westinghouse systems, such as CMS, WATTS, ENOVIA, GSQA, and others.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team on special, nonrecurring or ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Review documents, such as production and shipping schedules, region orders, and utility requirements documents, to determine product certification requirements and priorities and status of fuel shipments.
  • Collect and verify traceability of product manufacturing data. This includes reviewing and pulling information from different manufacturing execution systems and verifying proper QC.
  • Review product deficiencies and nonconformance data for applicability and proper closure before shipment.
  • Certify fuel shipment using appropriate computer software such as TAPRA.
  • Complete end of region as-built data.
  • Certify component shipments using applicable software (i.e. GSQA, CMS, WATTS, ENOVIA)
  • Establishes the Records Tracking System, File Location Guide and Record Cabinet Index.
  • Coordinates and transfers records for long-term protection and maintenance to the Corporate Records Center
  • Ensures a system makes retained records accessible to meet retrieval time, storing and maintaining them.
  • Obtain and review product records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procedure requirements.
  • Collect records, of the traceability, manufacturing, and product certification programs.
  • Establishing hardcopy files in Product Records room.
  • Perform scanning and archival of documents including document preparation, scanning, indexing, and inspection of scanned document quality.
  • Perform routine records searches.
  • Uploading of QCIRS into GSQA
