The Reconstruction Technician is responsible for restoring residential and commercial properties following fire, water, mold, and storm damage. This position performs a variety of skilled carpentry and finish work to return properties to pre-loss condition while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of construction, carpentry, or reconstruction experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and general construction.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic hand tools required.
  • Ability to use smartphones and tablets for daily job documentation.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Successfully passing a background check and pre employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Restoration industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform reconstruction work on residential and commercial restoration projects.
  • Complete carpentry including framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, and finish work.
  • Install drywall, tape, texture, paint, and flooring.
  • Perform basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs as needed.
  • Read work orders and complete projects according to company quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
  • Utilize company mobile technology to document work and project updates.
  • Travel between multiple job sites as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Support teammates and other departments to keep projects on schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
