About The Position

Implement4 is a recruitment agency working on behalf of a growing restoration company seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager for the Houston, Texas market. This is a confidential search. This is a strong opportunity for a restoration reconstruction professional who can manage residential and light commercial rebuild projects from approved scope through completion. Our client has a well-established labor force, reliable subcontractor relationships, and the ability to execute reconstruction work quickly while maintaining strong margins. The company is looking for a Reconstruction Project Manager who can take ownership of active rebuild projects, coordinate labor and materials, communicate with customers, manage schedules, protect margin, and deliver high-quality work in the field. This is not an environment where a PM is constantly fighting for labor. The client pays subcontractors quickly and fairly, which helps maintain reliable trade relationships and reduces the risk of losing crews due to slow payment. Their current reconstruction model is built to execute efficiently and target approximately 40% gross margin on reconstruction projects.

Requirements

Experience managing reconstruction, rebuild, insurance repair, or residential construction projects
Ability to coordinate subcontractors, labor, materials, and schedules
Strong customer communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Understanding of job costing, change orders, supplements, and margin protection
Ability to read and work from scopes, estimates, and project documentation
Strong jobsite problem-solving ability
Professional communication with customers, adjusters, trades, and internal teams
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Houston market

Xactimate experience
Experience with fire, water, storm, or mitigation-to-rebuild projects
Experience managing insurance claim repairs
Existing subcontractor or vendor relationships in the Houston market
Experience delivering reconstruction projects at strong gross margins

Responsibilities

Manage reconstruction projects from approved scope through completion
Oversee residential and light commercial rebuild work after mitigation, fire, water, storm, or related property losses
Coordinate internal labor, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project schedules
Maintain strong communication with homeowners, property owners, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams
Review scopes, estimates, job files, photos, documentation, and project requirements
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
Monitor job costs, change orders, supplements, schedules, and profitability
Protect reconstruction margin through strong project planning and field execution
Identify issues early and resolve jobsite problems before they affect customer satisfaction or profitability
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Support clean handoffs from mitigation to reconstruction
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners
Represent the company professionally with customers and referral partners
