About The Position

At SERVPRO, we help make fire, water, and storm damage "Like it never even happened." To do that successfully, we need elite leaders who can take a devastated property and manage its reconstruction from studs to completion. We are expanding our Scranton operations and looking for an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager based in the Allentown area who is ready to make a high-impact career move. Whether you prefer a fully covered daily commute or want to relocate closer to the action, we have the resources to support you. Because this position explicitly covers Project Management in the Scranton Area, we want to make your transition or commute completely seamless: Company Vehicle & Gas Card: Take the vehicle home! You are fully authorized to utilize the company vehicle and company gas card for your daily commute to and from the Scranton office, as well as all active job sites. Relocation Assistance: For the right candidate who would prefer to settle down closer to the market they will be servicing, we are offering a competitive relocation assistance package.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated experience in Reconstruction Project Management.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and be able to pass a standard background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background in Residential Construction/Reconstruction is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working within the Insurance Restoration Industry (and familiarity with insurance carrier guidelines) is a huge plus!
  • Exceptional multi-tasking abilities, strong negotiation skills, and a self-motivated mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of reconstruction projects, ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
  • Identify, vet, hire, and manage qualified subcontractors and tradespeople, clearly establishing timelines and quality expectations.
  • Review and verify project scopes of work, manage production expenses (materials, labor, equipment), and ensure accurate project tracking.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for property owners, guiding them through the rebuilding process with empathy and clear communication.
  • Ensure proper building permits are acquired and maintain meticulous job file documentation to support billing and insurance requirements.
