About The Position
Laurel Toyota is seeking a full-time Reconditioning Technician to clean and prepare customers’ vehicles for delivery. The role is suited to a forward-thinking, time-management-focused, detail-oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines. The wage will be determined by experience. The position involves washing and cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors, inspecting vehicles for noticeable issues, using cleaning products and equipment safely, and maintaining a neat work area. Overtime may be necessary to complete the daily schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean, valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet the company's production and quality standards.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
- Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and devices.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable issues before returning them to the customer.
- Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Apply dressing to tires and tire wells.
- Keep the work area neat and clean.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
- Report safety issues immediately to management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Work overtime if necessary to complete the daily schedule.
